panel gap is MASSIVE! Geez and I thought used cars from the early 90's plastic panels just became warped over time. Apparently, it's standard feature.

Wow that sounds great. I always thought these cars looked cool and are pretty unconventional.

I owned one of theses!! electric blue, my first car ever, I loved it to death, truely a great car ahead of it's time with technology, and easily one of the models that I will always remember olds for.

at 4:11 when he was pushing buttons on the CRT screen it was making the same sound as the scanner at my local super market when ever it scanned an item

yeah, new technology really gets to people!! It is kind of similar to BMW's Idrive, having to go through so many layers to get to one operaiton, or funtion, when you used to be able to twist a knob!!

I can't for the life of me figure out why so many people bitched about the CRTs in this car & the Riviera when they were new. They seem to me to be pretty straightforward to use if you know what you are doing.

I don't think the first nav system came in a car until the mid to late 90's. I could be wrong though.

Yeah. Cars now of days are much better in preventing whip lash then they were just 10 years ago. I mean when a company like the IIHS exposes a car companies defects in safety it has a big impact on many car buyers, which forces these car companies to go above the Gov standards in making their cars safer.

Yeah but i mean they didn't really make them useful in stopping whip lash up until the IIHS started to really show people the lack of standards that aren't in place, that should've been in place by the NHTSA that they weren't enforcing in their test. I mean the Mustangs all the way up until 2004 ford example had a poor rating in whip lash protection, because it still used the same type of head restraints that were used all the way back in the 79 mustang still.
